SYRKL ("we", "our", "us") is an emoji-only social platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the SYRKL mobile application.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and the username you choose. If you upload a profile photo or post images and videos, that media is stored securely. We also collect your daily pulse (mood emoji selection) and emoji reactions you make on posts.
We collect device information such as your device type and operating system version solely for push notification delivery and app performance.
We use your information to operate and improve SYRKL, deliver push notifications for reactions, follows, and messages, display your profile and posts to other users, and provide the daily encouragement feature.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase, which provides industry-standard encryption and security. Media files (photos and videos) are stored in Firebase Storage. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
You can update or delete your profile information at any time within the app. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. You can opt out of push notifications through your device settings.
SYRKL is designed to be a safe, positive social platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or via email.
